Dr. Robinson conducts research and is advised under Dr. Micheal Martinex-Colon. Dr. Robinson primary research investigates fish otolith species in the Gulf of Mexico and determining their spatio-temporal distribution as it relates to ocean biogeochemistry.

The Sea Grant Knauss Fellowship provides a unique educational and professional experience to graduate students who have an interest in ocean, coastal and Great Lakes resources and in the national policy decisions affecting those resources. As a Knauss fellow, Dr. Robinson co-development of the Ocean Climate Action Plan, Ocean Justice Strategy and National Strategy for a Sustainable Ocean Economy while committed to improve Arctic Policy, ocean resource management and supporting Tribal and Native Hawaiian engagement.
